About Us

Colleen has been working with horses and dogs for over 30 years. She was born with a passion for horses and other animals. Colleen has completed an internship at the UVM horse farm and has an associates in Equine Studies from the University of Massachusetts. Colleen is also a certified trainer with the IAABC. She was mentored by Joe Delano in natural horsemanship methods and by Christina Williamson in positive dog training methods. Colleen is always looking to improve her skills with both horses and dogs and continues to attend workshops and seminars by top trainers. 

When Colleen is not working (Which is not often) she enjoys learning agility and rally with her four dogs, trail riding with her horses, playing with her dairy goats and making cheese, desserts, soaps and other creative projects. 

Cris Carl is a clinical licensed drug and alcohol counselor who specializes in working with trauma and grief. Cris has worked in a variety of settings for over 40 years providing integrative therapeutic approaches to heal the body/mind. Cris has received training from numerous teachers in the field of trauma, including Dr. Bessel Van der Klok, one of the world's leading authorities on post traumatic  stress. Cris is also a certified yoga teacher, herbalist, and body work therapist.

Cris' life long love of horses and what they can teach us has deepened over time. In more recent work with Colleen Campbell Cris noted that "I have come to a profound and growing sense of how we all are all training one another. Integrated the healing with the co-help of horses is just the icing on the cake of life."
