This unique, science based and inspirational program allows the horse to become the teacher.  Horses are masters of being present and aware. They are also patient and forgiving. By teaching students how to read a horse's body language the horse is able to give direct feedback into the student's emotions, energy and body language. Helping them become more aware of tensions and blocks in their emotional and physical state. By using movement, mindfulness, training games and processing time with a therapist students are able to work through the blocks and build new neuro pathways in a fun and effective way.

While spending time in the round pen with their equine teacher Colleen helps translate the horse's teachings to the students and connects the messages to daily situations. Teaching the students how to incorporate what they are learning from the horse into areas the student can improve in their interactions with others.  

After spending time with the horses and Colleen the students get a one on one session  with Cris.  Cris shares her years of experience in PTSD and brain trauma to help students process and continue moving forward on their journey to wellness with techniques and daily exercises to help manage anxiety, grief and depression. 

This program is best suited for people who are ready to move forward in their life. We focus on solutions and ways to move past grief and trauma to rediscover joy and personal empowerment in life. Mirrors is an excellent follow up to traditional therapy.
